It seems 2010 is going to be the year of the tablet with or without Apple. Look at this thing. It’s like an iPod Touchpumped on steroids. This is the Notion Ink Smartpad, a 10-inch tablet running an NVIDIA Tegra T20 chipset with 1080p video playback and Pixel QI display for outside viewing.

Compared to the apple tablet which we can only speculate, The apple tablet will have a 10-inch touchscreen and will run OS version similar to the current mac OS X. You’ll get access to the internet via WiFi and it is also rumored to be coming with a book marketplace. Apple intends to pitch the tablet as an e-book reader.
